New 627 owner from Chicago

Greetings,

I'm a first-time handgun owner. I joined the forum to learn more about S&W firearms in general and the 627 Pro model in particular, which I'm currently very satisfied with.

I have an S&W .40 SW40VE on order, but because I just registered the 627 I have to wait Chicago's mandatory 30 days until I can legally bring the Sigma into the city.

I look forward to learning from the knowledgeable members here!
