New acquisition - Model 10-5

Since you like the K frame .357 with a round butt, how about one of these?

Very nice, but I prefer fixed sights on carry guns.

I had a chance to pick up a Model 19 like yours at a gun show this past weekend. Asking price was $600.00, but he said he was very flexible, so I believe I could have had it for considerably less. It would have been nice to have one, just to fill a hole in my collection, but I didn't want it enough to buy it.

Here are two early 10-5's with C prefix and matching diamond stocks. Serial numbers are only a couple thousand apart.

Beautiful guns, folks. I miss my tapered barrel 4" model 10. The only actual model 10 I have now is a 3" police surplus gun from the late 1960's. I won't get rid of that one.

As promised, I have exchanged the seller's photos for some of my own in the first post of this thread.
Hope you like the pics as well as I like the gun. There is only the slightest turn line on the cylinder. The rest of the blue is perfect and the gun appears to have been rarely taken from the box. Not mark one on the stocks.
I am pleased.

Very nice Jack, the holster you pictured brought back some old memories for me, I carried my 10HB in a holster like that in the late 70's. Thanks!
