Took the newest addition to the range today. My Dad and I put a few hundred rounds down range with this one. This is a very nice pistol. The trigger is a bit grainy, very similar to the trigger on my M&P compact out of the box. However, it has a noticeably lighter pull. I liked the trigger on my compact much better after about 500 rounds.

It was a pain in the *** to get the Fastfire sighted in. That was mainly because of the location of the locking screws. They are located on the back of the sight and the rear iron sight block the access to the screws. Other than that I am really enjoying the sight. It is going to take some time to get used to it since it is the first optic of any kind I have ever used on a pistol. I am able to get back on target and fire accurately at a rapid rate. The key word being accurate. I am really looking forward to working with this pistol.

Dad surprised me with a set of Crimson Trace grips for the compact. Very impressed with them, but I think I will make different thread regarding them later after some more time. I will say that I love them. Great day with my pops and some new toys.

Good for you. I like my CORE but still trying to get used to optics on a handgun.

anyone else have this setup? I'm wondering how they find the fastfire and pro core working together

Hey gang,

Sorry for the crappy pic, but I have had a few PM's regarding the co-witness ability of the Fastfire with the CORE sights. Hope this helps...
