So I cleared some space in the safe last week and acquired some funds for my two new baby's. I wanted a full size to start shooting steel matches so I got the 40 full size and plan to pick up a 9mm barrel to shoot both rounds. Then, I searched high and low for a shield. I was shooting for the law enforcement pricing so I called every dealer in Virginia and not one had a shield or any idea when they would get any. Oh we'll I thought I'll just go to my LGS and pay retail, nope. They sold out at the end of last week. Darn. Long story short I found one on vaguntrader.com and talked the guy down to MSRP. Met him this afternoon and brought home the little brother.
What's interesting is that according to the date on the test fired cartridge, the 2 are only a day apart. They truly are brothers.
