Shot my M&P 9 today after installing a DCAEK kit and an Apex Polymer Trigger. Left in the factory trigger spring giving me about a 4 1/2lb trigger pull. No more gritty trigger take up and now has a shorter reset. Installed a new Sear Housing Block from Brownell's because my gun had the small sear plunger spring and detent. There is not an available hole in these to install an Apex RAM.:(
The hole is there but there is some other kind of spring loaded device pressed into it. Does anyone know what this is and can it be removed to facilitate installing the RAM?
As far as function, My groups improved greatly with no more wild shots due to heavy trigger pull.

Very cool. I have that exact same kit.

My armorer told me I could not install the RAM on my Oct 13 build pistol for reasons I can't recall.

I find the reset easy to feel, however. But being as I'm a noob shooter I've not quite worked out why I need it.

Enjoy the pistol, mine shoots very nicely now too. :)

I installed the the DCAEK kit and polymer trigger on my mp40c a few weeks ago and love it as well. I ended up with about 5.2 lbs trigger pull but good to know putting the factory trigger spring back in will lower it just a bit more if I wanted to do that. Right now it feels perfect to me. Smooth action and most of the pre-travel taken out.
