Sometime ago I posted about buying a new to me 2015 Ram Truck. Well so far I have been really pleased with the purchase of the truck.
Now as with my last truck I wanted a bed cover, no cap. On my last truck I had a vinyl framed Rough Cover. It folded up to the front of the bed and it kept the bed and contents dry. I was very pleased with that cover and it didn’t cost me a lot.
This time around I wanted basically the same but a little better. I wanted a hard cover.
This time around I purchased a Leer Trilogy X2T. It folds up like my last one but never has to be removed if I need to use the whole bed. When folded and with the use of props it goes up to cover and protect the back window. It can be released from either side eliminating the need to go side to side to release clamps. This has an installed frame work to the bed. It even came with LED lighting.
Now one thing it is a bit more secure with the locking tailgate but I never leave anything in the bed
So far I’m really pleased and would recommend it if you are looking for one.
Of course this was considerably more but worth it! ;)
Merry Christmas to me! :D

New bed cover passed the car wash test, not a drop of water in the bed to be found!
Last snow fall we had there was no leakage as well! ;)

Nice! Looks to be very similar to the BakFlip 3 piece folding cover. I've had one of those on my Honda Ridgeline since new and I love mine. It has held up very well and cleans up to look like new.

doublesharp have you ever considered wiping it down with Aero 303 protectant?
I’m going to do that to help keep the new look, I did it with my old Rough cover.
I use that around on things on my motorhome including the tires. It doesn’t contain petroleum products! Developed for aircraft.
