I finished building this a few weeks ago. Replica of a Colt 605, used mostly by SEALs in Vietnam. It's actually a rifle length gas system with a carbine length barrel. Flash hider is pinned and welded. Slick side lower.

Range report would be great! Nice looking weapon . What barrel did you use? Like the pronged flash hider.

I'll get a range report as soon as I can. With my wife just having shoulder replacement surgery and then a reaction to pain meds with a 10 day stay in the hospital including 4 in ICU followed now by having to take her to physical therapy, I haven't had any range time at all. Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

It's a Brownell's upper with the early 3 prong flash hider. Chrome lined barrel, 1-12" rifling, 15.5 inches but with the flash hider pinned and welded to make it over 16" and legal.
