Model 22 of 1917 22-4 (DBD 54xx)

Based on the s/n, that likely shipped August of 2007. It's said Doug Turnbull Restoration did the case coloring for S&W. It don't get better than Turnbull.

You really should post a warning before you put up pics of that M1917. Give us mere mortals time to avert our eyes.

I have both...both are fine,well made revolvers...just picked up a 627 8-shot,"bloodwork"snub...if you are like me and do not care for the lock...easy enough to remove and plug the cavity
