New Colt Combat Commanders

I have been in two shops over the last few days that had a modern Colt Combat Commander with GI sights they were stainless and glued models with prices between $879 and $1100. I have been on Gunbroker and not found a single one. Colt does not have them on there sight either. Does anyone know the skew or have a link to online sales?

This is not the model with Novak sights.

I see them very infrequently with the possible exception of Wiley Clapp ones. Maybe they are all distributor items now?

It’s not the Wiley Clapp. One of the shops had three and claimed to have just gotten them in and I don’t remember seeing them last month. The ironic thing is both of these shops tend to run 10-20% more on prices than other shops. I don’t know about paying $950 OTD. If I can find the blued model for under $900 OTD I may very well buy one.

Sounds like some new old stock showed up at your LGS; I think the blued version's SKU is 04691. Colt discontinued these a couple years back.

You are probably seeing some old stock versions of the O4691 (blued) and O4091U (stainless) that were discontinued in the 2015-2016 period.

It is often not too difficult to find new old stock guns like this O4691 or this O4091U.
