HAY i just got an email from KYGUNCO.COM saying they just got a bunch of NEW M&P combo compacts in from a police dept that changed it's mind on calibers from 357sig compacts to 40s&w full size, it says that the guns comes with 3 mags and night sights in 357 sig (PLUS) it comes with a 40s&w barrel for $419.99 . i already ordered 2 so i thought i would let everyone know !

and NO grip inserts
but it does say free shipping

just got the full size mp 357/40 with 3 mags and 40 bbl. 2 extra back straps. manual, fired shell. police trade in , i don't think this gun was ever issued, no wear marks. anywhere. looks as good as a brand new off the shelf. the dealer had 3 just alike, dated shell casing jan. 2010, sn. no. dtwxxx , $449.00 , i love this gun, i donot like the grip on the compact, why have a compact with a pinkie ext. why not just get a full size. not much diff. in grip. i like my mag to fit flush. pyper22

Wow! That's a great price. They are not even really trade in since they have never been out of the box. I paid a lot more for mine without the conv barrel

I ordered one and picked it up today from my FFL. It's every thing KY Gun Co said it was. Like new, two barrels, 3 mags, night sites and free shipping. Can't beat that for $419. The people at KY Gun Co were very nice to deal with.
Can't wait to get out to the range and shoot it. Especially with the 40 SW barrel. I don't have any 357 Sig ammo, but can probably mooch some off my brother.

For some reason several PDs are dumping their 357 Sig M&Ps. A local LEO dealer in my town obtained 4K rounds of Speer Gold Dot & Lawman ammunition from a department. Thinking he wouldn't be able to get rid of it he priced it at $3 for a 50 round box. needless to say I bought all of it and split it up among a couple of friends who have 357 Sig M&Ps. S&W doesn't list the 357Sig anymore due to low sales. I hope this great cartridge doesn't go the way of the 41 Magnum.

S&W dumping the 357Sig? Doesn't look like it from this. Also, many departments in Texas are dumping .40S&W and going to 357Sig.
I agree that they (PDs) should be going to this truly great cartridge which I feel is much better than the 40 S&W. But try getting one from S&W, I don't think they are making anymore.
