New CORE Question

Just got my first S&W today
I have the 5in CORE in 9mm.
Mine does not have the white cursive signature pro series marking.
It is just stamped pro series.... Is this something new???
Also, the trigger is a bit rough

Purchased one last week and it is the same as yours. Put in an Apex trigger kit and the gritty trigger pull disappears and a nice 4.5 trigger pull takes its place.

And what model number is the one for the CORE?

I just picked up a M&P40L CORE last week, and am planning to put the Apex trigger and sear in it soon. The current trigger has to me a long pull.

I ordered it directly from them, as to the difference in slides i'm not sure what the deal is... What date was your test round? Is yours a low serial number model or something?

My pro series marking is cursive. Test fired in April.
