I needed some bullets for the 30-06 to see how it did at the range
and had to end up with the 150gr Hornady #3031 SPFB with a "can". ($37.99)
It had a BC of just .338 but my old Rem 150 sp, that I have loaded
list a BC of just .314 for the same style bullet.

There were no Sierra or Speer bullets at my stores, that had a .389 BC or any Boat Tails with a BC of .413 to be had.

These loads will be tested against my 270 130gr SPBT and a 140 SPBT at reduced, meat saver speeds;
that I have not shot in five years.

As a note, to give you a giggle or shock;

I went to the "Vault", a old sporting goods that usually has everything, at a price,
looking for any cci 250 magnum rifle primers.

They had Win, Rem & Federals.... no cci;
so I walked outside with a box of just 100 Federal 215 magnum primers for just......

$22.98
