Greetings. New member here.
At the local Cabelas Gun Library and through a sheer stroke of luck, I recently stumbled on a cherry vintage 1966 (pinned) Model 15-2. Flawless in every respect! $395! I traded a real clunker of an Inglis Hi-Power for it and the final net cost to me was $47!

I want to insert a photo here but it ain't working that I can tell (you can see what happens!):
(That's what I get for a "smilie"!!) Now since this is my first shot on the forum, I'm thinking that maybe once the message is submitted the images will appear. We'll see.
Anyhow, it has beautiful S & W factory checkered almost reddish target grips. Does anyone know if this would be rosewood? Also, where is a good place to buy genuine new factory wood S & W grips? I don't particularly care for dymondwood.
Thanks, and glad to be onboard.
