Greetings all, new from NC and to Smith & Wessons. I just picked up an SW99 in .40 cal through Gunbroker.com and can't wait to get it to the range. My experience has been with Ruger ever since I reached age 21 (with a dab of Remington here and there) so I'm expanding my horizons so to speak. This looks to be a great site as I've already had a couple of questions about the SW99 answered without even having to post them. I look forward to gaining info on these fine weapons.

Welcome from Texas MikeSW99. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Rugers are pretty darn good guns, my first handgun was a Super Bearcat and I still have it. A purchase of an older Security Six lead me to the Ruger Forum and subsequently to this one.
