Hi folks, I am new here and I work on my own guns when ever possible. I have a 559 that has a broken extractor. I looked up the parts on Numrich and ordered from them and the extractor I received is definetly not the correct one. My fault, theres, I don't care just need to sort this out.
I'm attching some pictures for clarity and to show what I have. I looked at every series 59 drawing that was on thier site and after receiving the parts realized something is off. My extracotr is thicker and uses a plunger where as all the drawings I saw showed an extractor with a pin through it and side pushing spring. I'm open to any suggestions, schenmatics etc and or part numbers here.

A big thanks in advance.
MIke R

I have always understood that S&W was going for a military contract with those extractors.

Numrichs shows the correct XM9 tool-less extractor in stock under the 459, for half of Jack First’s price. I believe the harder part to source for slides is the spring or plunger. Im sure they would swap it out if you give them an email
