Hello -
Just signed up yesterday to find some info about a revolver my wife inherited from her dad years ago. Turns out this is a very friendly and welcoming place!

As you might guess from my screen name, I was a tank crewman in 3/64 armor in the mid 1970's. Now I'm looking forward to retirement in a more sane and affordable area in a couple of years.

We have a few of her dad's guns - he was a retired cop from San Diego. Two of them are S&W - his 1963 .357 service revolver and what I now know is a 1969 .38 Chief's Special. I've included photos of both guns here.

Jon

I'm open to almost anything. The wife has some very specific want/don't want items.
For background, we were both born and raised in San Diego. We moved to WA for about 20 years for work - 14 over in Redmond, and then self employ in Ea WA for the remainder. We came back to CA for work again.

Her list - no big snow numbers or really cold winters, no hurricanes, no tornados. Sadly, I think she wants San Diego climate in an affordable location out of state.

My list - out of CA. Someplace she's happy with (see how much easier I am to please?)
