Greetings y'all!

I am new to this forum and hope to learn alot.

I will have to find the forum to get feedback on an issue I am on a M&P 9 Pro.

Initially, I had two problems.

One was, the spent round would not be extracted from the chamber and the second problem was I would also get a failure to feed a round during a magazine change.

I've sent it to S&W and they did some work on the barrel and installed a new extractor.

I have not yet have any failures to extract but yesterday, during an IDPA match, two of my 6 magazine changes did not load a fresh round. I had to rack the slide to get one in there.

Any advice?

Also, if I briskly slap a magazine in, the slide will charge forward without me having to touch the slide lock lever.

Is this normal?
Would this be contributing to my problem?

I can tell you the slide closing when you forcefully insert the magazine is normal. My S&W 45 ACP does it and I find it helpful during tactical situations.
