I wanted to let you all see the new grip tape I just put on my Shield.
It's made by a company called Sand-Paper-Pistol-Grips.

It's a rubberized texture but other surfaces are available.

The reason I went with these is because I wanted to eliminate the seam on the back strap and this grip is seamless, both front and back.

I'll have to use them for awhile to see how they hold up but they sure feel good and provides a really good grip surface.

Those look good...wish I would have known about them before I put the Talon's on! As careful as I was installing the Talons I have a slight overlap where mine come together at the top of the backstrap. Hopefully it won't be a blister issue when shooting it.

Thanks.
I just took my time when I put them on and I didn't have any trouble. The front and back pieces have tiny reference notches on them as to line them up with the mold marks on the frame. Helps to get them on nice and straight
The kit came with several more pieces to use on the frame, slide and extended mag but I decided not to put those on right now.

I like the look of these over the talons due to the fact that they come in separate pieces and you can choose how much or little you want to put on.
Many have success with the talons but the rubberized version can be a serious pain if overlapped (grip peels off).

I may look into these

Looks good. Sometimes less is more. Let us know how they hold up after shooting for a while.
