Hi,
I just joined the forum, I'm entry level to firearms. Just completed a safety class and CCW class. I will be taking more classes as soon as time allows. I picked up a S&W Model 36 square butt, my instructor told me I should check out at a local gun shop. From the research I have done it looks like it was manufactured in 1975. I hear good things about the Model 36. What do you guys think?

Tech 23, Welcome aboard amigo! That 36 is a great little carry gun, so get out to the range, or back country, and puts some rounds through it. There are quite a few Forum members from all parts of AZ, so hit the gun shows around your area and you will meet them. Ed #15

I have a model 60, the stainless steel version of the 36 and love it. Don't carry it anymore but it served me well.
