I'm a new guy from west central Illinois. I have been a long time revolver fan. But have never owned a Smith and Wesson. Started with my first Revolver 21 years ago. It was a Taurus 689. About 6 years ago sold it and bought a Ruger sp101 and then later a gp100. The past few months started taking an interest in S&W. I would eventually like to add a few to my guns.

Thanks guys. My wife grew up just outside of Bloomington. We lived in Bloomington for about a year awhile back but now live in a small town an hour west of Springfield.

I understand about not being able to have just one even though I don't own one yet. Been looking and man there are a lot of nice choices.. Looked at a used 19-2 yesterday while I was at the range but thought they were asking a bit to much so decided not to get it.But it was sure sweet.

Then turned around and seen a newer used 686 at another store and the price was only $499. But not sure if I wanted a newer one and get a plug.
