Wow nice forum y'all have here. I'm not one to join forums in fact this is only my second. What's funny for me is how back in the 80's and early 90's I was so anti S&W. Yes I was one of those that was all things Glock. How times have changed. It took me some time to get over my uninformed self induced prejudices, but I recovered. I always had S&W wheel guns, but never any self loaders. The M&P line has me hooked. I remarked to my friend the other day that my Glocks are nice and since I own them I'll use them. But if I had to start over today, it would be S&W hands down.

So now my new enlightenment has me giddy with excitement about getting a 15-22. When sub caliber models of full size guns began appearing some years ago, I scoffed and said "what's the point?". Now I get it. You guys are having fun and new shooters are coming on board in droves. That's always a good thing. My ARs are simple without heavy mods or over accessorized, so it's a bit overwhelming to see all the 15-22s with lights, lasers, and cappuccino makers on them. But if you're having fun and safe, that's all that matters.

So I've lurked quite a bit and found loads of good info here. I'll try not to ask the questions that have been answered ad nauseum, instead trying the search function first. I know how that drives the cool kids batty.

Welcome aboard AerialCameras from the great state of Pennsylvania! I have always loved S&W. Yea, there are pro and con with any manufacture.

Welcome from Texas AerialCameras. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Beware of the versions with cappuccino dispensers. Just trust me on this one.:D
