Greetings from Virginia. New this forum but not to weapons and shooting. I have been hanging out on the 1911 forums, and for the past good number of years I have shot almost solely semi-automatics with frequent practice time to remain proficient with my #686, #49 and #442. Over the past several months though I have been getting the urge to get back into revolvers, and the other day I took the plunge. My preferred auto load is the .45acp, so I kind of had an urge for a revolver that would fire the same round. I have been reading about the Model 625 JM special and was very interested in that model. Went by the local GS and lo and behold they had one and it was love at first sight. This is one awesome shooting revolver. I have included a couple of pictures from my first range session. It is not competition winning form but I am real pleased to get this type of grouping right out of the box. I took a picture of the 625 before cleaning it to show that this is definately going to be a working weapons and not a safe queen. I love this gun, and look forward to spending time on this site.
