Anyone else catch the preview of Hornady's new powder trickler? I love the idea. The "Quick Trickle":

Hornady Manufacturing Company :: Reloading :: Metallic Reloading :: Powder Measure & Accessories :: Lock-N-Load Powder Measure & Accessories :: Lock-N-Load® Quick Trickle

I love everything about it but the price. I was really hoping it would cost half that much. I have been mucking about trying to build something just like this from a beat up RCBS trickler with no luck. I may have to see if I can catch this one on sale. I plan to use it with a beam scale though instead of an electric.

Yeah I saw that too Bob. This was my face when I saw the price tag  --$90 in my recent Cabelas flier. I think I will still be looking to get a Redding #5 trickler for about 25% of the Hornady. Really don't understand Hornady's price on that, as it would seem better at that point to spend the extra money and get a complete charging system.

It just seems like a product that is mostly plastic should cost less.

Guess you missed it.:D

HORNYady, tricks, hint hint.;)

I thought you had a electric powder do dad that does that?

You know you are going to buy it anyway. If it was electic you would already have one. I bet you watch QVC and the Home Shopping and buy all the Ronco, K Tel items as seen on TV.;)

When I lived in MN I actually lived one block from K Tel drive where all the stuff was shipped from.

Why would they make something so simple, SO complicated? My powder measures drop close enough, I only need to trickle a little, and my primitive Lyman and Herters tricklers work fine without all those extra parts.

What, that old Autocharge??? That's so yesterday's reloading gear. This one is all shiny and new!!!

I just like my options is all. To be honest, if I didn't have the Autocharge then this would already be on its way.

Options, options, options!!! I like the idea, it's just way to HORNYady like Rule3 said. If their price tag wasn't too big for their britches then it would be mine!!!

Both my RCBS Lil Dandy and Uniflow with small drum throw within 10th of a grain, usually check every 10-20 charges. I have a couple of tricklers but haven't touched them in years.
