"New" J frame Grips

I just looked at a new 642 at my dealers. It had the nicest wood fingergrove grips I ever felt. It had the S&W laser etched? on them with checkering. Anyone know who makes them for S&W?

Thats going to be Altamont who is under contract to make S&W grips for the 642 model with Finger Grove, RB, & laser emblem in Redwood. They are also known as the Talo look. You can buy them straight from S&W Customer Service under Product Code 22775. I have a set on my 649 & my wife's 638. I tried to get Altamont to do them in Walnut or Kingwood wood, but didn't work out.
