Maybe the NRA will actually do something to earn the dues of NJ members and get behind this.

Interesting.. It seems the NJ legal opinion regarding LEOSA is way out of line in that the law specifically states that it applies to retired officers. Can she possibly mean only full time sworn but retired officers are covered? Or does she mean only full time sworn and no retired officers. Perhaps I can join as a Friend of the Court since Im retired, qualified according to Federal Law and on occassion when it can not be avoided, have to pass through the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. I guess only motorcycle gang members who have no fear of arrest can carry guns in the PRoNJ.

Interesting, and while I'm no lawyer it seems that NJ is in violation of the federal LEOSA statute.

Interesting, indeed. As another old retired cop I will avoid New Jersey at all costs until the NJ authorities choose to acknowledge both federal law and the US Constitution in their legislation, regulations, and actions.

I hope that this action, and others like it, force the "progressive forces" governing New Jersey to behave like public servants instead of like masters of the masses.
