Saw the Jurassic world movie last night. It was pretty good, but I like anything with "living" dinosaurs. I will get the DVD. Not a physics lesson and more than one long fight scene goes too well for the grossly outnumbered good guys, but a good tale. Jeff Goldblum makes an appearance at the beginning spouting his warnings from the first Jurassic Park movie. One thumbs up.

I thought this one was better than the one previous Jurassic World movie. I thought the plot was more interesting than the the other's.

Well, let's move onto the next
movie, the Planet of the Apes
simians take on the Jurassic
Park critters with commentary
and music by Elton John for
those who won't read subtitles.

Dinosaur Rifle For Sale?

Yes, the movie was entertaining. These Jurassic movies make me wonder just what we would use to hunt dinosaurs assuming they existed in sufficient numbers to warrant a hunting season.

While the Japanese monster and creature movies from the 1950s portrayed these animals as immune to artillery fire, my guess is that most of them would fall to African game rifles firing solids. For the really big guys, a Barrett in .50 BMG might work.

Darn, I had to sell my dinosaur gun when I lost my job in 2009. A Remington Model 700 Safari in 375 H&H with a Bushnell Elite 2100 scope. Beautiful gun and it shot like a dream.

My son and I just got back from watching it and we both enjoyed it. I had no idea the pretty, red-headed heroine is Ron Howard's daughter. My son loves the Andy Griffith Show and it blew his mind finding out that is Opie's daughter!

I think the old .458 Winchester Mag may make a come back. Remember Clint used one in Dirty Harry. Maybe be can cameo in the next Jurassic movie.

It was filled with the threat of global warming and encouraged everyone to save the planet. They think the best dino gun is a 9MM subgun or a shotgun. One guy did have a S&W revolver in 460 or 500. It ended endorsing human cloning.

I'm pretty hard to please with movies but I liked this one more than I thought I would. The bad thing is, I know the movie popcorn is expensive but it also tasted terrible, like it was about two weeks old.

Went and watched this movie a few days ago, I enjoyed watching it. Wouldn't want to be around any creatures that dangerous without at least a .50 BMG

Rather than watch these movies-if you want a real treat you need to get the original book "Jurassic Park" by Michael Chriton and read it. Wayyyyy mo betta than the movie! He wrote some great books back in the 90s!

Most every book that has been made into a movie is better than the movie. That said pretty soon paper books may become a thing of the past.
