We had a tornado blow through our neighborhood about three weeks ago and things have been kind of chaotic around our house lately. Had a tree on the house, about 30 trees down in the yard and my neighbor's garage roof in my back yard. But we are all safe and that's really the only thing that matters.
I had started a holster for a 4" N frame before the tornado hit and just recently got to finish it, actually have not put the finish coats on it yet. It was a cold windy day here yesterday and I did not feel like working in the mess that used to be my yard so I got out the camera and took some pics.
The pancake style holster is not era correct for a first year HP but I've come to enjoy making these and I like this old N frame. This flower pattern seems to be my favorite or at least the one that seems to come out pretty good most the time.
The pocket watch and knife are items that belonged to my grandfather. He died when I was two (51 yrs. ago) and I received these from an aunt not too long ago.

Sorry if this got kind of long.

Let me add, thank you james56 for the S&W prop rod.

That would make El Paso Saddlery check their hold card.

Very nice.

Bama you are a great leather craftsman, equal to any of the famous holster makers from days gone bye.

Sorry to hear you had storm damage!

I have to say nice work and it takes talent. Seen a couple other ones you have posted and the same the vintage look:cool:

Thanks RB

Wow !! I love your work. Do you do work for others or just for
yourself ? I'd love to have one of those rigs made.

It's mostly a hobby for me. My real job takes up 50 to 60 hours a week and finding time to do it is the main problem.
I have done a few for forum members and a few others. However right now I'm going to have my hands full trying to get my house and yard back together.
chud333, I'll right your name down and when I get back to I'll let you know and see if you're still interested.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.

Bama,
Ran into VM at Anniston last weekend and asked him where you were and he told me about your brush with the storm. If I can be of any assistance to you I'm in the book or PM me. I'm only about 8 miles out past you.
