Years ago I bought a Lee turret press and the original style round, black safety prime. It seemed to work great for years but the small primer version finally just gave up and broke. So I bought a new set and it came with the white triangle shaped versions. They sucked. No matter how much I tried to adjust them (keep in mind I'd been using the original version for years) they threw primers everywhere. They sucked so bad I toss them and found a guy on ebay who was selling an older set. So anyway, I just watched a youtube video with a guy who had the same complaint as me. However, it would seem that Lee had enough complaints about their "improved" version that it was replace with another new version. He was showing their latest version and says that it works great. They still have the goofy triangular holder but the dispenser is redesigned. I don't want to buy a separate hand primer because that kind of takes away from the convenience of a turret press. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with their very latest model on a turret press. When I originally complained about the failure of my first set of triangle versions I was pretty much told it was all me and that I just was doing something wrong. Apparently though Lee agreed but, is the newest one any better than what it's replacing?

Not sure about on the turret press (I'm still using the older style/round primer tray myself), but I did order one of the latest model Safety Prime for the same reason for the Auto Breech Lock Pro press. The 1st newest version did the same thing for me, then Lee came out with the latest version and it seems to work fine. I can use the other version on my Classic Cast press without issue.
