New M&P 15-22 owner

I have been lurking around the forum for a while and finally decided to take the plunge and say hello. Picked-up a new M&P 15-22 about a week ago from Tony @ JetGuns.com ($398 shipped). Overall I am very happy with the gun. It has been a blast to shoot. I am new to rifles so I am sure there is a learning curve. Got it to the range yesterday and my first 75 rounds (Win333 and Remington Golden ) were flawless. Unfortunately my next 75 rounds had about 15 FTEs. Took the gun home, cleaned it well and bent the ejector toward the center a little bit; took it back to the range today and shot 100 rounds (Remington and Federal bulk from WW) flawlessly. It looks like she is a keeper .

Welcome here. they are so much fun you run out of bullets before your done. I've found it takes a lot more time to load 4 mags (25rds) than it does to empty them.

Awesome man. With my gun after I start getting past about 300 rounds in one session without cleaning I start to get a FTE every now and then. Found it it was due to GSR building up on that ejector hook. 2 seconds with a brush to clear the hook and its all good again.
