Just picked up a M&P 2.0 4.25 inch model about a week ago. Got out to the range & shot about 300 rounds out of it. I am impressed, performed flawlessly. The Trigger isn't bad at all either. I shot several different ammo types out of it.
1. Federal Champion 115 gr FMJ Aluminum case
2. Remington 115 gr JHP
3. Speer Gold Dot 147 gr HP
4. Remington UMC 124 gr ball
I have some more of the 124 gr & some Winchester 115 gr ball ammo to shoot next.

Glad to hear you like your new M&P 2.0. I've fondled a couple at the LGS, and probably I'll eventually get one. But not for awhile....fixing trucks and getting my wife a new car has my "slush fund" lower than I like. Maybe next year :D

I looked at the compact, with my large *** hands. I just cannot do compact sized pistols. I have tried a lot of 9 mm pistols in the last 6 yrs since I got back into shooting again. But I am hoping out of all the others that I have purchase & sold this one will be the champ.

I recently purchased the 2.0 in .45ACP, .40 and the new 2.0 Compact in 9mm.
I also purchased the Storm Lake 357 Sig barrel for use in the 2.0 .40 and it performed flawlessly.
I have to say that they are all perfect in every way and the Compact model is my new EDC.

I bought the original .45ACP Compact, and was impresseed with the size, which I consider just about perfect. The new M&P compact 2.0 in all calibers is the same size, so I'll probably be getting another one soon.

I love my M&P9 M2.0. I couldn't wait for the compact, so I traded the Ruger American for the full size M&P. Glad I did too! I liked the Ruger American, but I did not love the gun. My thumb knuckle got beaten up by the wide beaver tail on the American and the reset was too long for my liking. My M&P is a sweet shooter and will enjoy shooting her every time I go to the range.

I myself am considering the M&P 2.0 full size in the 45 ACP. I have held one & there isn't that much difference in feel. Also 10+1 in 45 ACP is awesome. I know there are higher capacity 45 style pistols but I like the feel of the S&W M&P 2.0 line. S&W did a good job on this new series of pistols.

Congrats on your new S&W M&P 2.0 these are excelent guns and feel great in hand, I chose the 2.0 compact, only because it fits my needs a little better, the trigger is an improvement over my M&P 9MM C, and so is the texturing on the grip surface, and having 16 rounds aboard is another plus, the great add on sleves look good and feel good and allow me to use a standard 17 round magazine and have the grip feel good, it makes for a full size grip, and the sights are spot on with mine, making it easy to pick up my intended target, what really got my attention was the extra grip panels, to help you get the proper fit for your hand and trigger placement, and it works likee a charm, I'm using the M/L panel and it feels great, enjoy your new gun, I know you will...
