New M&P 22 pistol will not cycle properly

I bought my M&P22 a little over a year ago. Ran fine until a few weeks ago and started having the same problem described in this thread. Sent it back to S&W where they polished the breech block and adjusted the hammer clearance. Took it to the range Saturday...still hangs and has the gritty feel when it does. I guess it's back to S&W...

A little disappointing....this has always been a great shooter and I would have expected S&W to actually make sure it was working properly before its return...Oh, well...let 'em pay for shipping!

Had a similar problem after1000 rnds. I found 2 or 3 possible answers.
Lube the hammer
Make sure the chamber is very clean so as not to cause the spent casing to hang and put a momentary drag on the slide
Use a small dab of gun grease on the rear of the slide track

Make sure the ejector did not get bent when cleaning. Make sure it fits perfectly in the slide cutout as you cycle the slide.
