Love the new tactile reset on the trigger! I was wondering a couple of different things, did they go with a universal frame? My non thumb safety frame has the plugs where the thumb safety would be. Also does the newer M&P's have a newer barrels? I hear they have a better twist compared to the older versions to fix the "accuracy" issues.

The faster twist will better stabilize certain bullets, like the 147gr in 9mm, but have little effect on others. I think you are mixing bits of different reported issues with some guns. The "accuracy issues" were with all bullets but only in certain guns. A slow twist makes the gun sensitive to ammunition, favoring short and fast.

Personally, the change of shape of the bump to make the reset more noticeable is irrelevant to my shooting. If you like it, great....but does it change your competition scores?

Still I would rather have the audible and felt reset on the trigger. "Initial test firing with 115, 124, and 147 grain ammunition seems to show that these new barrels now provide Glock-like performance and accuracy with the various weights, not showing a preference for any one weight." -JFR
