Hello all, got a new 9c two weeks ago and finally got it out to the range yesterday. This one was test fired 3-5-13 and has all the latest updates as far as I can tell.

To start with the trigger is actually smoother and a little lighter than my Shield 9. I put a 100 rounds through it with no problems at all it shot nice and smooth with very little recoil, I was able to get back on target nice and fast. Ammo used included WWB, PMC Bronze FMJ, and Monarchy FMJ all 115 gr. I was really impressed how nice this shot.

On the splatter target I was shooting (7 Yards) a little more rapidly than usual, without the flyers it would look pretty good. On the other target I took my time concentrating on trigger control and put the first four on the red, I think my hands got a little shaky on the final shot, oh well 4 out of 5 surprised the heck out of me, this 9c is nice and accurate.

Congratulations. I've had my 9c for about 2 months and have been pleased. Have about 500 rounds through it with no big problems. Had a couple ejection problems but only with one target brand ammo.

Nice shooting and hope you never have to shoot anything but range targets with it.

A 9c was the first pistol I purchased after getting back into shooting. I loved it and was very accurate with it. Then I got stupid and gave it to my wife...lol. She was having problems with her Ruger LC9 and I traded with her. I should have just kt it and bought her one. Anyway it is a wonderful pistol.

I shot mine for the first time last night as well. Bought it a week ago. The 9C was first on my list but none were available in my area in April so I bought a Kahr PM9. Don't get me wrong, the PM9 is a beautiful carry/pocket 9 for cargo shorts carry and is not an everyday range gun. 2 different classes of guns. The 9C did not let me down last night. Sent 200 rds through it and it ran smoother after each round. Can't wait to grow old with both!

I have found myself shooting my 9c a lot more than my f/s 9mm lately. The 9c is a GREAT all around gun :)

I actually wanted the full size, when I went to my LGS they had a FS and the compact, I compared the trigger pull on both and the 9c had the nicer pull plus they were selling the compact for $50.00 less. I'm glad I got the 9c instead of the FS.

I started back shooting hand guns because the wife got her carry permit.
She started off with the LCP & I got a sd9ve. We put in a lot of time at the range. We shot the MP 40c & 9c she got her the 9c & now consistently out shoots me with it.

I sold a CZ clone (tristar C-100) because it just didn't fit my hand all that well. I liked my Shield so much I figured I'd go with another S&W and decided on the 9c after handling a FS. It is extremely comfortable to shoot and I do as well or better (accuracy) with it than I did with my clone. I can see this one becoming a favorite.

Glad you had such a great experience. I just got home from a range visit myself, ran 100 rounds through my 9C-fun fun fun.

I recently put in the Apex duty/carry set-up & changed the front sight to an Ameriglo night. Now it's ready to keep me smiling for as long as I'm able to keep squeezing the trigger! I agree with the sentiment that it's a great all around pistol.

Great way to start a weekend, have fun.
