:cool:I just ordered a NIB M&P 9C for EDC piece. Looking to hear from those who carry one daily and holster choices used. I have an XDSC .40 but love to shoot,a bit of a range rat so 9MM will be more affordable. With +P ammo a good carry pistol,I'm hoping!!

Love it....but

Love my M&P 9c but...and this is no slam to S&W had to send it back due to barrel issues from everything I've read apparently some "bad Apples" slipped through the QC department S&W is fixing the problem for those unlucky enough to recieve a defective barrel. Some owners who experienced this problem simply cleaned the barrel thoroughly and it was a non-issue. I sent mine back because my dealer was ignorant of the problem and told me to "NOT shoot this gun and send it back immediately." I hope you don't have to experience that "death of a vision" moment as you're packing up your brand new "baby" for a long trip back to MA. I have a Blackhawk inside the pant holster to carry everyday. The industry also recommends you have a paddle holster as well so I purchased a Fobus with adjustable retention obviously the paddle is more comfortable to me but it limits your clothing option so I wear the Blackhawk daily and can get awaay with almost any shirt. I also noticed on the few days I carried the M&P the extended magazine pokes out a bit so I carried with the standard flat bottom Mag.

good luck,
Matt

I have been very happy with my 9c. I carry mine in a Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe in horse hide. It is very comfortable and stable (I can sprint and roll on the ground with out any problems (other than being gouged)). I carry the 9c and a spare magazine in a Blade Tech Tek-Lok magazine pouch.

For you to gauge I am 5'8" and 245lbs, and it will conceal under a loose untucked tshirt.

I've had mine for about a month now. It's very accurate and reliable with about 500 rounds downrange and not a single hickup. I tried the three grip inserts and found the medium one works best for me. As for holsters I use Raven Concealment Phantom for OWB carry and a Tactical Tailor Crossfire Concealed Carry bag for a "bump-in-the-night bag". I plan to buy a set of IWB snaps for the Phantom at the gun show next month for summer time carry.

A good choice. Light weight and reliable. I like the Kydex type holsters as shown.

i just switched from carrying a kahr K9 to the MP9c. i really like the K9, but can't hit anything with it:p never got used to that long DA trigger pull.

i purchased a MP9c and started carrying it last week after i was convinced that it was reliable with my carry ammo (gold dot 124 grain +P short barrel).

i use a Galco triton kydex IWB holster, and highly recommend it.

Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters
