My 40C, fire date 1/28/13, has a much improved reset, very tactile and audible, but does have a bit of a gritty feel. The grittiness is smoothing out with use and I suspect it will go away with more use. It is a nice trigger, I like it.
Any complaints about the trigger? What's your testfire date? Does it have a reset you can actually feel? I'm tryuing to decide if I should buy now or wait a few months for new production to hit the market.I just picked up a new pro and the trigger appears better than my buddies m&p 45. That said it is not as as my 1911 but I knew it wouldn't be going in. Nice gun though, glad I got it
I have no idea why you guys make such a big deal about hearing and feeling the reset.Under competion or real life I can gurantee you that you will neither feel or hear the reset.
I shoot IDPA,USPSA,Steel Matches and sometimes Bowling pin matches and after the timer has went off I have never heard or felt the reset.Yet I have never missed having the trigger reset.
Don't believe me take your pistol to the range and practice fast double taps and tripple taps.Do a Bill Drill in 3 seconds or under do The El Presidente under 10 seconds and tell me how many times you heard or felt the reset.
No, entirely different trigger system.
Agreed... It only matters (if even then) when checking to see if a FS or C M&P has the newer Shield trigger, or the older M&P trigger.I have no idea why you guys make such a big deal about hearing and feeling the reset.Under competion or real life I can gurantee you that you will neither feel or hear the reset.
