I picked up my new M&P15-22 from my FFL today and after hearing some of the bad reports, I was a little worried. I was ready to sell it before I even got it! So I took it to the local range to give it a chance and I have to say I am in love with this thing!
I had a few issues with it but nothing major. The first was a couple misfires (pulled the trigger and nothing happened) and A few FTFs which I blame on myself because I don't think I loaded the mag properly. Other than that, that was it out of about 300 rounds. I did adjust the ejector before I fired it as per the instructions on the Youtube video and on this website. I was using CCI and Federal bulk pack. The serial number is DTH93XX. It seems a lot more reliable than the GSG-5 I had. That thing was a POS, nothing but trouble with it.
