I just got back from the range (yup, it's almost 1:00 AM - gotta love a 24 hr. range with no time limits).
I just put new TruGlo sights on my new 9c and had to try them out. The gun ran smooth & I love these sights. I had Trijicon on my old M&P, and I like these TruGlo a lot better.

I shot this target 30 times. I was shooting at 10 yards.
I'm pretty happy with the results:

I had a few stragglers as I was getting settled in, but out of a gun with less than 200 rounds through it, I'm pleased.

P.S.
Orange duct tape & cardboard - poor man's target. ;)

I love my new M&P9c / Range Report

Looks like good shooting to me. Whoever is on the receiving end of that is gonna be hurting that's for sure

Congrats on the new gun, nothing like it :)

Orange duct tape? Never seen that before. Although last year in Target I saw snakeskin duct tape in a big roll on the shelf. When I caught a glimpse of it out the corner of my eye, near my hand, I 'bout pooped myself. Little too realistic if you ask me...

I use black duct tape on some scrap printer paper from work. Poor man's target indeed!

I like the bright orange against cardboard, but not white paper. Not enough contrast.

Great idea with the orange duct tape!

A package of targets costs between $5 and $10 depending on what you buy and lasts only a few trips to the range.

A roll of colored duct tape is around $4 and lasts me a couple years, and you can always find cardboard for free.

Also stealing this idea.

been using white duct tape for years on cardboard ....works good for a handgun ...used to repair insulation in metal buildings

I've had my 9c since early January. First, I couldn't find target ammo. Everything was sold out. When I finally got the ammo, my FOID card expired. Yes, I live in IL-ANNOY. I sent the renewal paperwork the Illinois State Police in December. With all the hysteria out there, they became log-jammed. I finally received my new FOID card on 02/17/2013. I'm legal to go to the range. I'll probably go this week.

I knew you had to have a card to buy a gun....which is wrong...but you mean you have to have a card to go to the range and shoot it??? Man, that is just plain wronger!

Yes, here in IL-ANNOY they make it unpleasant for us Law Abiding Citizens. I currently am looking at moving to a State that is more appealing to my interests.

I think I would have to move out of that State. I seen on another page where the Police Chief of Chicago has really insulted law abiding citizen. I don't even want to drive threw that state after hearing all of this.

I don't think I would evan own a gun of anykind if I had to go to a "range" to shoot ...I drive down the road in front of my house & shoot all afternoon & never see anyone on thousands of ac. of farmland ....I feel for you brother

I bought a 40c last May and loved it so much I got the 9c. I picked up extra mags at gregcote for a great price. I wish I had bought 2-3 more now. I have 6 mags for each. I looked for full size mags but could only find .40S&W. No 9mm to be had. I got 4 of the "adapters" just in case.

The trigger on the 9mm is not quite as good as the .40, but it doesn't have as many rounds through it. I did find Laserlyte Rear sight Laser for both. Unfortunately, they don't make these anymore???

I sold my G27 the first time I held the 40c. IMHO it's a much better overall feel and function than the G27.
