Finally, after I found some ammo, and got my renewal FOID card, I was able to go to the range and shoot my 9c. I am very pleased with my purchase. I bought my 9c for $509 in early January. The very same pistol is now going for $699.

not trying to start anything but what is a FOID card...BTW was in my LGS this afternoon & he sold [2] 40c & a 9c for $540 with holster & 100rds. ammo out the door

well found out today that a FOID card is a Firearms Owners ID card wow....don't know why you would live in a state that requires that & has snow on the ground half the time ...both suck !!

I got my 9c last week for $519. I used to live in Illinois. Now I live in Arizona. I am liking it here much more 
The M&P9c is one of my favorite carry pistols so I think you made an excellent choice. These Compacts are very accurate and just feel good in hand. Illinois has had the FOID cards for years, but unlike New York and others we can still purchase normal capacity magazines. The downstate politicians are more progun than the Chicago pols who every year try to pass antigun legislation.
