I have a new magazine that will not feed when loaded. When looking at magazine I can see that it spreads apart at the seam where the rim of the cartridge comes up out of the cavity of the mag.

I tried to use "crazy glue" to hold it together but the glue would not hold. I am afraid to return in fear I will not get it back from S&W.

Has anyone seen this before or know how to do an at home repair? Try again with another type of glue?

Thanks,

Mike

I would call S&W first. It will be covered under warranty, just scrape that glue off. This is a repair, so you will hopefully have better luck than if you were dealing with the sales department.

If you don't want to send it back, use JB-Weld plastic.

Just glue it. I had the same problem. I glued it now its like new. Imagine how long it will take if you go through smith and Wesson.

You need to separate it enough to get the glue in between the two halves and it will work, at least it worked for me.
