I wanna know where I can order, would definitely grab a pair of 10 round mags and I want that charging handle, screw the cheap plastic handle that comes with the 15-22. About time someone came out with a metal replacement.
According to an email from them about three weeks ago, none of the products mentioned on the web site are even in production yet. All they have are a few prototypes, presumably made for the just-held SHOT show.
I don't care about the magazines; for my needs, I'm happy with the ones from S&W but I do like the metal charging handle, though they indicated the MSRP would be in the $50-$60 range. I have no idea what that will translate to when they actually show up on dealer's shelves.
I'll buy a 10 rounder if the price is right![]()
Would love to test these. Having M16 or Pmag-like magazines would be awesome.
edit: Aluminum magazines, right?
I'm pretty sure sonic weld is for plastic.
They have to angle forward because the .22LR is a rimmed case. No one can make a vertical mag for .22 over about 15 rounds. After that the overlaped rim stacking forces the mag to curve. This applies to drums also. If you want a vertical drum get and AK or .223.I'd really like to see something like this for my 15-22 =)
(and yes, I've seen the 50 round drums, but I dont like the way they angle forward)

The initial run of 10 round mags will look identical to the 30 with an internal block. We will manufacture a shorter 10 round mag later this year. The initial 10 rounder will be the same price as the 30 @ $34.95. You can buy them through Cabelas or Midway by mid March. We will include dealer contact info on the web page within the next few weeks.

Just an end user's opinion ...
I hope you have something very much superior to S&W's product to charge that much over S&W's MSRP, not to mention charging double what most of the outlets are selling S&Ws for.![]()
