New Member and first time S&W owner from AZ

Greetings all,

Last night I picked up my new M&P Shield 9mm after a LONG wait and search. I feel like I won a small lottery given the demand for them (not to mention I got it without paying a huge markup [$440 shipped, Grabagun.com]). The FFL I picked it up from had never even seen one 'in person' which drove the point home that I had something special given the circumstances. It will be my daily CC.

I'm a licensed CCW and also own a Walther PPQ in 9mm, which I love. So I guess it's all technically in the S&W family now. Looking forward to gathering some valuable info here and hopefully contributing some as well.
