Hello to all, Ive been lurking around in here for a few weeks now and was enjoying this forum, but also alittle shocked at all of the ejecter problems with this model. I bought mine at Cabela's on Aug.29 09 so it was one of the earliest. Sn DSW4***. I've not had a problem with it. Using the bulk Fed.champion. Probably 1200-1500 rds. I'm also quite happy with its accuracy. See attached. 5 shot group benched at 20 yds. Thats as far as I can get in the basement. I did use Eley Match for this. I do clean it well after use. My mags too. They come apart for this so easily. Now i'm kinda leary about shooting it. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one. It is nice to see that Smith has been so good at standing behind their product.

I'm with you on this one. No problems to date. Knock on wood.

Congrads!! i got my 15-22 on 9-4-09, had to send it abck on 9-8-09. But since i got it back and 500+ rounds, its been nothing but fun. Great shooting also btw. I did some bench shooting with mine the other day, with the same target, had the same results, tore up that bullseye.

TxShooter, Thanks for the kind words. Man, why did you have to seen it back? I'm glad its been good since. Keep tear'n up that X.

I am new to this forum and very recently bought a 15-22. So recent that it hasnt arrived to the FFL dealer yet. Hopefully it will be there tuesday. This is the first firearm that I have bought and I plan to keep it for a very long time. I've been reading around keeping tabs on how to do as much as I can to prevent any malfunctions. Hopefully I wont have to send it in.

No problem, and i had the jamming issues, like alot of folks have had with the 15-22. I only let it jam a few times before putting it back in the box, didnt give it a chance to break the extractor, etc. When i got it back, said they replaced the mag and extractor..but its worked great since its return. Its alot of fun. My serial # starts with the same letters i believe as yours i believe.
