Greetings from CA!
I was just joined and wanted to say hello to everyone. I just purchased a S&W 22-4 with a case hardened frame and am waiting for the transfer to be completed. I have been shooting for years but have only owned 2 other revolvers - a Colt Trooper V in .357 and a S&W 638. Stupidly I sold off both of them and have been revolverless for years. Over the years I have owned all types of semi-auto handguns but have narrowed the herd down to .45 ACP's. I recently saw the S&W 22-4 Thunder Ranch model and knew I had to have one. In the end I couldn't find a TR but found the 22-4.
I have been surfing the net for the past few days reading everything I can find related to the 22-4 and the more I read the more excited I get. I can't wait to receive it. Anyways, I look forward to participating in this forum and picking up a tip or two.
