Hello all!

My name is Micah, and I have purchased a Shield EZ for my wife and a Shield plus PC for me. Both intended to be EDC guns. Even with the lack of ammo, I'm looking forward to putting some rounds through. My wife has shot hers and likes it though the recoil on the 9 is a little more than she anticipated.

I did a bit of research, and the M&P just seemed to fit our hands very well. They also seem very well built!

Now if we could just find some ammo.

The ammo situation should be easing shortly ... Don't panic , this isn't the first time it's happened and wont be the last ... seems to happen about every 4 years now ( election cycles ? ) .

We need a " GoAmmoMe" site for new gun owners / shooters who don't have ammo ... they could re-pay the ammo after the Panic is over .

I get strange thoughts early in the AM !

That's a creative solution! I've been searching and have purchased some bulk ammo from Natchez shooter's supply online. I had to wipe a little tear from my eye when I hit the 'buy' button. Wasn't cheap, but it was available. My goal is for both of us to be proficient. Hopefully, the bulk ammo purchase tides us over until the ammo supply starts to catch up with demand a little bit!

The shop from where I purchased ours is owned by an acquaintance of mine, and he was kind enough to sell us a couple boxes (50 rounds) at $21/box. Given what I have seen lately, I'm extremely thankful for his generosity! He said he has enough ammo to sell to new owners when they buy from him.

My wife and I both finished our enhanced concealed class, and we have taken a pistol training class, which was great fun and extremely educational.
