New member here, currently living in DuPage County, IL.
I'm a former US Air Force Security Policeman, so my main firearms experience is with the M16 I carried daily as my duty weapon. I also carried a S&W .38 model 10 as a bank security guard for a while after that.
I honestly don't own any firearms right now, though I used to go to the range regularly. I finally went shooting again the other day and had a great time. It had been about 17 years since my last outing.
I had already decided to buy another handgun, and that just made me even more determined to get back into it. Glad I moved out of Cook County!
With all the anti-gun BS going on, I also joined the NRA, GOA, ISRA, and SAF for good measure.
