Hello all! I have been lurking here for 2 or 3 years, ever since I found this place & used some info found here to identify my inherited S&W .38 Single Action, 2nd Model. I also found out about getting it lettered from here. Discovered it was shipped in 1889 to Meachum Arms, in St. Louis. From there, I actually got a couple of reprinted Meachum catalogues from near 1889, and a reprinted S&W catologue too. So fun to hunt down a little history like that.
Anyway, I read this forum almost daily, and have fallen in love with old S&W revolvers. I currently only have my old Single Action .38, and a new 442 that I carry daily. Too many expenses in my life at the moment, but hope to get a couple of early-mid 20th century hand ejectors for my collection at some point. In the mean time I figured I should join up, if for no other reason than to throw out some likes, and maybe chime in once in awhile. Looking forward to it!
