New member from Va.

Hello Everyone,

First post here. Just wanted to say hello. Live in the Richmond, Va. area, but I was born and lived a large portion of my younger life in the St. Louis, Mo. area. I was an Army brat, and spent 7 years in Kitzingen, Germany while my dad was with the 3rd I.D. Have always loved shooting, but sold my 2 weapons 6 years ago, when I married my wife, who came along with 3 young step-children. Kids are older now, so last month I purchased the M&P 15-22A1 rifle, to teach them all about shooting and gun safety. Looking forward to getting a 5.56 caliber M&P as well in the near future. Anyhow I did a lot of browsing here when I was looking into the purchase of my rifle, and there is a lot of great knowledge here, so it was only logical I join. Look forward to being part of the community!

Hi from Springfield. I think you'll find this to be a terrific forum with lots of knowledgeable people willing to share what they know. It's about as free as you can get from the irrelevant rants and gun-shop commando expertise that shows up too often in some of the other forums (fora?).

Yeah I havent been this excited about the Blues since the 00-01 season. Hitchcock has them rolling .... still need some offense imho. The 15-22 is a blast. My boys and have shot about 500 rounds of Federal Game Shok, and CCI mini mags, and only had one FTE. Great little rifle.

another BIG welcome...i live within a mile of ft.lee i think there are some civilian hours at their range...i'm a member at blackcreek shooters association in mechanisville...great place to shoot..!! there is also conservation parl in charles city county...
