Hello, this is my first post on the Smith & Wesson Forum.
I am also pretty new to semi-automatic pistols.
I have owned a pre-1966 .38 Police Special Serial #C660467.
A few years ago I purchased the infamous S&W SW9VE. I
thought it was a good pistol for the price and it was similar to
a Glock, they said, so it cost much less than the Glock and looked
nice. At the time, I thought I would like the two-tone color,
but now I really don't. I have thought about painting it black,
I am just not sure how it would stand-up after using it awhile.
Has anyone ever thought about painting a gun. I blued a
.410 gauge J.C. Higgins Single Shot Shotgun Model 101.1, it
turned out pretty good.
OK, that's about it. Thanks for letting me join and make friends here on the S&W Forum.
