New Model 15-22 Observation

I checked out one of The new model 15-22s the ones with the flash hider on it today at the gun store and compared it to mine and i was looking at the ejector. The new one sits almost touching the side of the bolt mine had a small gap. Ive seen a few youtube videos about this and tweaked mine to be just like the one in the store so next week when I shoot hopefully ill have zero FTEs. But maybe S&W fixed their fte problem on this gun

What area of the country are the ones with the flash hider showing up? How was pricing compared to the non flash hider model?

Im in Florida and the price was the same $449 as what i paid for mine

It definitely has the new style extractor and the blue star on bhe back of the manual. Quick twist with a wrench and off came the flash hider, on went my Gemtech Outback 2 suppressor. I'll shoot it out back tomorrow and post a report and some pix.

same here on the gemtech mine run like a champ with a yhm phantom on it.... price must really vary from place to place on these things i gave 431 out the door on mine i believe.... list was 399... dealer price in catalog i seen the other day was 369.. plus shipping so i guess dude let me have it for about 20 bucks over what he had in it

Will depend on the store, and probably the difference will be more than having the non threaded barrel threaded.
