Got mine. 200 rounds thru it . Flawless and accurate. Like the grips but still playing around with other options. I have the moon clip tools from TK Custom. Makes unloading the clips a breeze. I also have the loader but with these moon clips just using no tool worked fine.
Sights are great and it shot to point of aim with Sig 115 v-crown, Winchester 115 silvertips , S&B 115 fmj, and Federal 115 fmj. Will try some 124 grain stuff at session.
Will post pics later. Really liking it.

it it rated for +P loads or must one stick with standard pressure? The smiths doing 9mm conversions recommend standard pressure only due to case extraction.

From what I understand the 940 no dash had some extraction issues with +P stuff. I shoot Speer 124gr Gold Dot +P out of my 940-1 with no problem. I'm thinking the new version should be the same.

900-950 FPS with a 115gr bullet is a hard pill for me to swallow. I've been a firm believer for some time that 9mm and 357 magnum need at least a 3 inch barrel.

b737lvr, I'd much prefer a 3" or longer barrel on a .357, but ballistics with 9mm in 2"revolver may be a bit more robust than many might assume. Just out of curiosity I've chronographed quite a few 9mm factory loads in my 940-1. Just a couple; the standard pressure Winchester 115 grain white box from Walmart averaged 1088 FS in my 940-1 with 2" barrel. The Federal 9mm 124 grain +P HST averages 1195 FS in the same revolver...

Exchipy, I was never in the right place at the right time to get one of the 3" 940s, I believe there were relatively fewer of those produced. Pretty neat revolvers I think..

Any bullet speed advantage (likely not enough to matter) is not the real benefit of the 3" (actually a full 3 inches) J-Frame barrel over the far more common 2" (actually 1-7/8") barrel; the real advantage is in its improved shoot-ability (pointing and balance). The 3" J-Frame conceals just as well as a 2" in a belt or shoulder holster, though not so well for pocket or ankle holster carry, not to mention the trendy AIWB nut-buster carry.

But, be prepared to pay a premium for a 3", as they tend to be 'spensive and hard to find, even the .38SPLs. Or, you could simply make your own, like this one (made by re-contouring an unneeded M60-4 barrel for installation on a M640 frame):
